Teri Hatcher

Teri HatcherTeri Hatcher was born Teri Lynn Hatcher on December 8, 1964, in Palo Alto California. Her mother Esther was an engineer at Lockheed Martin computer programmer, while her father Owen was an electrical engineer, nuclear physicist. Teri was raised by Esther. Teri studied ballet at the San Juan School of Dance and was raised in Sunnyvale, California. Fremont High School was where she was the Featherettes the dance captain. She also was recognized with the "Most Likely To Be a Solid Gold Dancer" award. Hatcher graduated from De Anza College, where she took classes in engineering and math. She also took acting classes in San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri disclosed that she had suffered sexual abuse from her uncle Richard Hayes Stone, from the age of 5. she assisted Santa Clara County prosecutors with their case against him following a 14 year-old victim of Stone's committed suicide. Stone was convicted in prison for four charges of of pleading guilty to molestation. While in prison, he passed away from colon cancer.
