Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actor and producer who is best recognized for her roles was in Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and The television series The Mentalist. She is a graduate of the BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is a producer and actress who works in film, theater and television. Her acting career started in the theater. Her appearances then included several television shows, independent films and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico as well as on BET's epic series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with critical acclaim but also a number of nominations and awards, including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Film. In 1995, she appeared in her first performance with The Tempest as Ariel. Her stage credits include Broadway performance of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her film work she is most famous for the roles she played in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her part as a regular on ABC's drama detective series High Incident earned her praises.
